Fire Fairy Print, View Print

This lovely creature named the Fire Fairy manifested herself in the world in less than two hours. One afternoon during a very severe bout with the flu, I was inspired to pick up my pencils and drawing pad. I was feeling lonely and sad for myself, as all others at The Sacred Garden were out somewhere joyfully enjoying their lives.I had not been drawing or painting for quite some time, yet as ill as I felt, I knew I needed to do something to bring a smile to my face. The results upon the large pad of paper a mere 2 hours later, was my Fire Fairy.

She hauntingly stared back at me, sending me absolute pure love and understanding. She spoke gently to me, explaining she was the Fire Fairy and she would help put out the fires raging within me, from some unresolved grief and anger. I knew I was suffering a physical ailment only because I had not allowed myself to feel the emotions within me.

I giggled silently, thinking how odd that I was sent a Fire Fairy to quench my rage, rather than a water fairy. Yet I realized I was already drowning in my unexpressed sorrow...water was the last thing I needed.

My Fire Fairy sat with me throughout many days, and we simply gazed within each others soul filled eyes. I felt a gentleness and caring from her, that I had not yet experienced from any of the other fairies who had thus far manifested themselves into form through my hand. This little Goddess, known as the Fire Fairy, simply loved me back to wellness.
